Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F
Step 2
To a pan add the ground meat and onion. Cook until meat is done and onion is softened. Drain any excess grease.
Step 3
Stir in flour and tomato paste until meat is fully coated. Cook 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in beef broth and cook another 2-3 minutes then season with garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
Add in mixed veggies and brown gravy. Stir until everything is combined.
Step 6
Transfer meat mixture to a 9X13 baking dish.
Step 7
Top with mashed potatoes and spread until the meat mixture is evenly covered.
Step 8
Bake for 20 minutes.
Step 9
Remove and top with cheese then bake for another 10 minutes.
