Instructions

Step 1
1. In a bowl, combine the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, chopped green bell pepper, and chopped red bell pepper. Mix well and set aside.
Step 2
2. In a separate bowl, prepare the marinade by mixing the vegetable oil, paprika, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
3. Thread the meat cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, dividing them evenly.
Step 4
4. Place the skewers in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring the meat is well coated. Allow the meat to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
Step 5
5. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Step 6
6. Once the grill is hot, place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness and has a nice char.
Step 7
7. While grilling, baste the skewers with any remaining marinade to keep them moist and flavorful.
Step 8
8. Once the brochettes are cooked, remove them from the grill and serve hot with the onion and pepper mixture on the side.
Step 9
9. Optionally, serve the brochettes with grilled vegetables, rice, or ugali.
