Instructions
Step 1
Brown sausage, mushrooms, onions. Drain.
Step 2
Add tomatoes, sauce, and paste to sausage mixture. Let simmer over low heat.
Step 3
Prepare pasta, al dente. Use cool water to arrest cooking. Drain.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the pasta with 12 ozs of shredded cheese.
Step 5
Add meat mixture to pasta mixture. Spread into a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Step 6
Slide into oven at 350 degrees. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until dish begins to brown on top.
Step 7
Remove dish from the oven. Add remaining cheese on top. Turn the oven off and place the casserole back into the oven to allow cheese to melt
Step 8
Slice into squares and serve.
