Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. -- Convection oven to 300°F.
Step 2
CCP--Wash & sanitize hands & prep area. Wear gloves & discard per facility HACCP guidelines.
Step 3
CCP--Check condition of all cans prior to opening. Do not use if product is questionable.
Step 4
1. Combine margarine, brown sugar, and drained pears. Pour mixture into steam table pan and spread out evenly.
Step 5
2. Prepare cake batter according to package direction then whisk in cinnamon and nutmeg. Distribute batter evenly over pears.
Step 6
3. Bake 35 - 45 minutes or until cake center springs back when touched lightly or cake tester or toothpick inserted near the center of the cake will come out clean.
Step 7
Cool slightly.
Step 8
4. Place clean sheet pan over cake and carefully invert so pear layer is on top.
Step 9
Cut each 18 x 26 x 2" Sheet/Cake Pan 6 x 10 for 60 servings. Each serving = 3 x 2-1/2 inches.

Refrigerate leftovers. Cover, Label & Date.
