Step 1
In a mixer bowl add the warm milk ( milk should be warm to the touch not hot ) 1 tbsp of the sugar and the dry yeast then set aside for 5 minutes

After 5 minutes the yeast should have foamed up add 1 of the cups of flour and mix on low on your stand mixer or just with a wooden spoon. When it’s all combined cover with a damp tea towel and let it sit in a warm place for 40 minutes

Step 3
After 40 minutes add the eggs the rest of the flour sugar and salt and mix on medium with the dough hook attachment until fully combined .

Step 4
Add the softened butter a tablespoon at a time until mixed then mix on a medium speed on the mixer for 15 minutes . The dough should be very smooth . Cover over with a damp towel bring and let it rise in a warm area until doubled in size about 90 minutes to 2 hours

Step 5
Punch down then Dough then turn it out onto a lightly floured surface . Divide the dough into 12 then roll into balls and place into loaf tins . Cover and let rise 30 more minutes
Step 6
Brush the balls with some egg wash or milk then bake in a 175 c 350 f pre heated oven 35 minutes or until fully baked through . I brush the tips with butter while they are still warm . Let them cool then enjoy
