Korean inspired garlic bread - similar to Korean garlic bread but I’ve omitted the sugar and made it salty instead!

For the cream cheese filling
For the garlic butter mixture
Instructions
Step 1
Start by whisking your cream cheese, double cream, and salt. Add to a piping bag.
Step 2
Next prepare your garlic butter mixture. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, salt, chilli flakes, chopped parsley, 1 egg and 50ml milk.
Step 3
Slice the top of the buns without cutting all the way through (stop mid-way) into quarters, sixths or eighths (I’d recommend sixths). I used ready brioche buns (non-sliced is preferable. If pre-sliced, just make slices into the top bun).
Step 4
Pipe the cream cheese mixture into the slices. You can also stuff some cheese into the crevices before doing so OR top with a sprinkle of cheese instead (optional).
Step 5
Dunk the buns into the butter mixture and place on a baking tray with parchment paper.
Step 6
Bake at 180C for around 15 minutes.
Step 7
Enjoy!
Step 8
Complimentary cheese pull image for if you add some cheese too 😍 I used mozzarella
