Instructions

Step 1
Cream together butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy.

Add your milk and red food colouring (I use red gel sugarflair colouring for the best deep red colour). Mix well.

In a separate bowl mix together plain flour, corn flour and cocoa powder. Then sieve into your butter mixture and mix. If you’re mixture becomes too thick to pipe add a splash more milk.
Step 4
Use a piping bag with your preferred nozzle or butter biscuit piping machine and pipe your preferred shapes. You can make thick finger biscuits or flatter and wider ones like I did.

Bake at 160C for 12 minutes.

Once cooled, decorate as you like. Melt white or milk chocolate and add a splash of oil. Mix well and dip half the biscuits. Top with chopped/crushed almonds or any decoration of your choice.
