Ingredients

1 cupflour

½ cupoats
large

¼ cupalmond flour

½ cupbrown sugar

½ teaspoonbaking powder

½ cupbutter
melted and cooled slightly

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9” square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving it to hang over the sides.
Step 2
For the crumble, add the flour, oats, almond flour, brown sugar, and baking powder to a bowl and mix. Pour in the butter and mix it together until no dry ingredients remain and it holds together in clumps when squeezed together.
Step 3
Add 3/4 of the crumble to the baking pan and press it in firmly and evenly over the bottom. Bake for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile stir together the berries, granulated sugar, flour, cornstarch and lemon zest.
Step 5
Scoop the berry mixture on to the par-cooked base. Top with the remaining crumble and press it down lightly into the berries.
Step 6
Cook for another 30-35 minutes until the top is golden brown and the berries are bubbling around the edges.
Step 7
Let the bars cool completely in the pan. Cut into squares and serve.
