⅓ cupflour

1 tsppaprika
1 tspChinese five spice
1 drizzleoil
800gpotatoes
diced 3cm
¼ cupmilk
2 Tbspbutter

peeled & grated 1/4 n sliced

1 tspitalian herbs

Instructions
Step 1
COOK IT
Step 2
Preheat oven to 220°C (or 200°C fan bake).
Step 3
Pat chicken dry and season with salt.
Step 4
Place in a bag or container with a tight-fitting lid, along with cornflour, flour and spices.
Step 5
Shake around, until chicken is coated.
Step 6
Place chicken on a lined oven tray, season with salt and drizzle with oil.
Step 7
Roast for about 35 mins, until golden and cooked through. Turn chicken halfway through cook time to ensure even cooking.

MASH IT

Dice potatoes 3cm.
Step 10
Place in a large pot and cover with hot tap water and a lid. Cook on high heat for 15-20 mins, until soft.

Drain and return to pot with milk and butter.

Mash until smooth.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.

MIX IT

Peel and grate beetroot.
Step 16
Thinly slice cabbage.

Add to a large bowl with mayonnaise and vinegar.

Mix to combine and season to taste with salt and pepper.

HEAT IT

Melt butter in a small pot on medium heat.

Add second flour measure, herbs and lemon pepper and cook, stirring, for 2 mins.
Step 22
Add stock and whisk for about 3 mins, until thickened.

EAT IT
Step 24
Top chicken and mash with gravy and serve slaw on the side.
