Instructions
Step 1
Heat up olive oil in a pan together with 2 garlic gloves and the stalk of basil (remove the leaves and put them by side). Add chilli flakes and fry it until the garlic is golden brown, then remove the stalk and the garlic gloves.
Step 2
Wash and cut tomatoes in halves and throw them in the pan. Smash them with a spatula or fork and fry on medium heat for a few minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile cook the pasta according to the instructions.
Step 4
Add salt to the tomatoes, then throw the pasta and the basil leaves. Give it a good mix till everything is combined.
Step 5
If you want you can add a little bit of more olive oil and chilli flakes on top.
