Step 4
Peel the apples and cut them; I like to make them into cubed, bite-sized pieces.

Step 5
Add them into a pan with butter, some cinnamon, and lemon juice. Use as much of the latter two as you like. (I usually use one to two teaspoons of cinnamon and keep adding lemon juice until I like the taste of the apples)

Step 6
Put the pan on the stove on medium heat and cover the apples. Mix occasionally. If they get too sour for your taste, don't be afraid to add some sugar.

Step 7
After you've cooled the dough in the fridge, roll it out and put it on a pie pan/dish. The thickness should be about 0.5 cm, but make sure to leave some dough on the side to put on top of the pie

Step 8
Add in the apples; as much or as little as you want. I never have any left over, so I doubt it would be a problem.
Step 9
Use the extra dough to decorate the top of the pie, and be creative! You can use cookie cutters for shapes or go with the basics.
Step 10
Bake the pie on 170°C for 30 minutes, or a little more if you like a darker crust.

Step 11
After the pie is done, let it cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
