1 cupall-purpose flour

1 cupbreadcrumbs

Vegetable oil
enough to fill your frying pan about 2 inches deep

Wash the jalapeños thoroughly.

Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise.

Remove the seeds and ribs to reduce the heat or leave some in for a spicier kick.

Cut the brie cheese into small pieces that will fit inside the jalapeño halves.

Place a piece of brie inside each jalapeño half.

Set Up Your Breading Station:

Arrange three shallow bowls: one with all-purpose flour, one with the beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.
