Pizza dough
Tomatosauce
400mltomato puree
2 Tbspfresh basil
1 tspdried oregano
¼ tspsalt
¼ tsppepper
1 Tbspolive oil
0.5onion
2clove garlic

Instructions
Pizza dough
Step 1
Pour the yeast into a container and add the sugar and some of the water. Stir everything well and leave the yeast to swell for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead them together with your hands or a mixer.
Step 3
Shape the dough into a ball and leave it to rise in a warm place for at least 30 minutes, preferably 60 minutes or overnight.
Tomato sauce
Step 4
Chop the basil, onion and garlic.
Step 5
Heat the olive oil in the pan and set the heat to medium-high. Add the onions and garlic and fry for approx. 2 mins.
Step 6
Add the tomato sauce and spices and simmer for a further 2 mins.
Deep dish Pizza

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees top/bottom heat.
Step 8
Remove the pizza dough from the bowl and roll out with a rolling pin to a thickness of approx. 0.8 cm.
Step 9
Place the dough over a cake tin with a diameter of approx. 20 cm and shape the dough so that it covers the entire tin and is even.
Step 10
Remove the skin from the sausage, chop the sausage and spread it on the pastry. Then flatten and press together with your hands.
Step 11
Now spread the tomato sauce evenly over the salsiccia.
Step 12
Finally, spread the grated cheese over the pizza and then top with the mozzarella.
Step 13
Bake the pizza for approx. 20-25 mins. If the surface gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil during the baking process.
