This is an easy white sauce for any noodle by itself or dressed up with chicken and vegetables. Make it for tortellini or any stuffed noodle.

Step 1
Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add garlic and mushrooms simmer for 3-4 minutes on low heat. Continue on low heat whisk in flour one tablespoon at a time, to make a roux. Slowly pour in half and half a little at a time continuously whisking to avoid clumping until all the half and half is added. Bring to a gentle boil. Continue until slightly thickened. Add salt and pepper.
