Instructions

Step 1
Make the broth: Add the vegetables and meat and bring to a boil. Skim off the foam and cook until the meat is done. Once the meat is cooked, you can take it out and eat it separately
Step 2
Chop up your beets in your desired shape the most common shape is semi circle slices but you can do chunks or diced if you like or a mixture of the two
Step 3
Add 1 kg of your chopped beets to the broth and immediately add 2 large tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of vinegar.
Step 4
Cook until the beets are soft or until the flavor is right.
Step 5
Pour some hot soup into a separate bowl and slowly add 4 tablespoons of the soured cream to it stirring constantly. Only then add this mixture to the soup and stir
Step 6
Mashed potatoes can be served with this soup. In this case prepare these whilst the soup is boiling with the beets
