Instructions
Step 1
Place 800 Grams washed potatoes ( unpeeled ) cover with salted water then boil until fork tender

Step 2
Melt butter and oil in a large soup pot then add sliced smoked sausage and brown . Remove once browned and set aside then add diced onion and cook for a minute . Add crushed garlic and flour and paprika cook a further minute then add the broth .








Step 3
Dice cabbage and add it in cooking about 4 minutes then add diced potatoes. At this Point add more broth of the mixture is too thick. Add pepper bay leaf and cayenne pepper and 1 tbsp white vinegar . Let this cook about 15-20 minutes then add back in the sausage



Step 4
Once the other pot of potatoes are cooked strained Skinned and cooled mash with a fork or use a ricer then add egg yolk salt pepper cornstarch and nutmeg. Mix until a dough forms then tear off little pieces roll into balls and put in the soup. Cook about 5 minutes . I like to serve my soup with some sour cream and parsley
