Coat beef in seasonings and slice it thinly against the grain.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium high heat, add in beef and Worcestershire sauce and sear evenly until all beef is brown. Take beef out of pan and set aside.

Thinly slice onion and caramelize in pan, adding in slightly more salt. When onions have turned slightly translucent and nearly golden add in thinly sliced bell peppers and continue cooking until they are soft.

Preheat oven to 375 F. Slice rolls in half and spread mayo on the bottom, layer on filling, and then layer on slices of cheese. Brush a mixture of melted butter, garlic powder, and oregano on top of buns. Bake until cheese is melted and tops of rolls are browned.
