Step 1
1. Preheat the oven 350°F.
Step 2
2. In a large bowl melt 2 sticks of butter, add in sugar, salt, vanilla extract and whisk. Next add in the flour and mix until your dough forms.

3. Press the crust down in a 9x13 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper. Flatten until even and until it covers the whole pan. Bake for 15 minutes, while you work on the filling.

4. Crack 6 eggs into a large bowl, add in the sugar and mix until somewhat smooth. Then add in the lemon juice, flour and lemon zest. Whisk until smooth.
Step 5
5. Pour the mixture over the pre-baked crust, and bake into the oven it goes. Bake for 35 minutes or until the middle is no longer jiggly.
Step 6
6. Take it out of the oven, let it cool down for at least 2 to 3 hours, dust the top with powdered sugar cut in squares and enjoy!
