Step 1

Preheat oven to 200 °C.
Rub both sides of each steak with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2

Heat an oven proof pan on a medium high heat on the cooktop. Once it's hot add the steaks and sear for about 1-2 minutes on both sides until nicely brown. Remove the steaks from the heat, top with butter and rosemary or any other herb you are using.
Step 3

Add the steak to oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, depending on how rear steak you like.
