Instructions
Step 1
Prep the crock pot: Melt the butter in the crock pot on the low setting for about 5 minutes. Once melted, sprinkle in the oregano, basil, rosemary, and lemon pepper seasoning. Stir gently to mix the herbs with the butter.

Step 2
Add Alfredo sauce and cream: Pour the Alfredo sauce and heavy cream(or sour cream) into the crock pot. Stir to combine with the herb-infused butter.

Step 3
Add cheese: Mix in 1 cup of the cheese blend, reserving a small amount(about 1/2 cup) for garnishing later. Stir to blend the cheese into the sauce.

Step 4
Prepare chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Optionally, sprinkle with minced garlic for added flavor.

Step 5
Layer ingredients: Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the crock pot, nestling them into the sauce mixture. Ensure that each individual chicken breast is covered with the sauce.

Step 6
Cook: Cover and cook on *low* for *6-7 hours* or on *high* for *3-4 hours*. The chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F(74°C) and be tender and easily shredable.

Step 7
Finish and garnish: About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle the reserved cheese on top of the chicken. Cover again and allow the cheese to melt and become bubbly.

Step 8
Serve: Once the cheese is melted and slightly golden, serve the chicken with some of the creamy sauce over pasta, rice, or vegetables. Tips: for a richer flavor, you could add a splash of white wine or a squeeze of lemon juice to the sauce. Adding sauteed mushrooms and or sun-dried tomatoes can enhance the Italian flavor.
