Instructions

Step 1
To a medium saucepan set over medium heat, add olive oil. When oil is shimmering, add garlic and shallot and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute
Step 2
Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes
Step 3
Add olives and taste. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir in basil.
