Dock Biscuits (like digestives)

The Curly Dock and other Rumex sp including all the Docks and Sorrels are setting seed. From rusty orange to dark brown they stand upright and descicated in the field margins. Gather these and hang so any little travellers can leave. It's quick work to run finger along the stems so the seeds fall into a dish. Grind well- I use a coffee grinder. Add to breads and biscuits or use to make crackers.

Roll into a ball, chill, then roll out and stamp shapes. 12 mins (though could be a min longer to be more crisp, just experiment with it) at 175 degrees
