Ingredients

garlic
chopped

white onion
diced

200glean beef mince

onion granules

½ tspsmoked paprika

worcestershire sauce

½ tspyellow mustard

50greduced sugar ketchup

150mlbeef stock

60greduced fat cheddar
grated

Fresh parsley
to garnish chopped

120gdry pasta
Burger sauce drizzle (optional):
Instructions
Step 1
Start by grilling the bacon according to packet instructions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, bring the pasta to boil in a large pan of salted water. Once cooked drain and set to one side. Note - I always reserve a bit of pasta water in case I want to loosen the sauce further
Step 3
Add the garlic and onion to a frying pan, cooking until softened. Then add the beef mince, frying until almost browned.
Step 4
Mix in the onion granules and smoked paprika before adding the Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup and beef stock. Leave over medium-high heat until thickened.
Step 5
Once the sauce has thickened, stir through the cheese until melted. Add the cooked pasta into the sauce combining well.
Step 6
Cut the bacon into small bits, then serve the cooked pasta, burger sauce if using with the bacon on top and parsley.
