Preheat oven to 180C. Line the base and side of a loaf tin with a 20cm base in greaseproof paper.

Sift the flour into a large bowl. Add the sugar and bicarb and stir thoroughly to combine.

In a medium bowl, mash bananas with a fork

Add eggs, vanilla, milk, banana and pecans to the flour mixture and gently fold until well combined. Spoon the mixture into the lined pan.

Place in the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean
