Instructions
Step 1
Marinate the chicken in the Dijon mustard in a covered bowl at room temperature for 2 hours.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 350°
Step 3
Arrange the chicken skin side up in baking pan. Coat with any mustard that was remaining in the bowl.
Step 4
Pour the wine around the chicken.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Baste the chicken while cooking.
Step 7
Once the chicken has finished baking remove it from the baking dish and place it on a platter. Cover the chicken to keep it warm.
Step 8
Place the baking pan over medium heat on top of the range. Whisk in the cream and cook over low heat. Simmer for 10 minutes. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
Step 9
Spoon the sauce over the chicken when serving.
