Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F and butter an 8 inch round pan or cast iron.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, paprika and frozen corn.
Step 3
In a small bowl mix together melted butter, buttermilk and beaten egg. Pour into dry ingredients and mix together till no clumps.
Step 4
Pour into greased pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a tooth pick comes out clean.
Step 5
Slice and enjoy!
