Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Step 3
In another bowl, beat the egg. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, allowing any excess to drip off, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
Step 4
Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil. Bake 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
Step 5
Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
