Step 1
Brown the ground beef and onion in a large soup pot until cooked through, about 5 to 8 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Step 2
Add the remaining ingredients except elbow macaroni. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Step 3
Pour in the elbow macaroni. Reduce heat and simmer gently until macaroni is tender, about 10 minutes. Taste and add more salt and pepper, if needed.
