Homemade Coffee Creamer - there are a million variations that I’ve compiled and tried and found which ones work for me. I’m sharing them here with suggested alterations for you to find your perfect combination! VANILLA CREAMER: 1 tablespoon real vanilla extract (use the good stuff) DULCE DE LECHE CREAMER: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract + 1 tablespoon caramel syrup BROWN SUGAR CREAMER: 1/2 cup brown sugar + 2 teaspoons vanilla extract + 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon MAPLE CREAMER: 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract + 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup CARAMEL CREME DREAM: 1/3 cup brown sugar + 1 teaspoon vanilla + 1 tablespoon caramel syrup PUMPKIN SPICE CREAMER: 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree + 1 - teaspoon vanilla extract + 1 tablespoon maple syrup + 1/2 to 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (start with 1/2 teaspoon and work your way up according to your preference). COCONUT CREAM CREAMER: 6 ounces coconut milk + 6 ounces half & half + 1 - teaspoon vanilla extract + 1 teaspoon coconut extract. CINNAMON VANILLA CREAMER: 1 teaspoon cinnamon + 1 teaspoon vanilla extract *For dairy free use a nut milk substitute of choice.

Instructions

Step 1
Dissolve sugars and water over medium heat. It may boil but that is ok. Once dissolved, remove from heat and let cool completely.
Step 2
Add extracts of choice.
Step 3
Add 4oz of flavored simple syrup to a 24oz wide mouth mason jar or container of choice and fill the rest of the jar with dairy of choice.
Step 4
Shake well and store in refrigerator. The creamer is good for up to two weeks.
Step 5
The remaining simple syrup can be stored in an additional mason jar or airtight container in your pantry for a month or so. I typically go through 1 mason jar of creamer a week.
