Instructions
Step 1
I started by adding 250g of porridge oats, 85g of light brown sugar, 30g of pumpkin seeds, 30g of sultanas, 150g of golden syrup and 4 tablespoons of peanut butter to a large mixing bowl. Then thoroughly mix all of the ingredients together using a spatula.
Step 2
Next put your flapjack mixture into a baking tray lined with baking parchment. My baking tray is 30 cm x 20 cm which fitted into my single drawer air fryer perfectly. But make sure your baking tray fits into the drawer of your air fryer first! Then firmly pat down the flapjack mixture using the spatula.
Step 3
Then cover the baking tray with tin foil and place into the air fryer drawer. Leave the crisper plate in the air fryer to help the hot air to circulate. Cook your flapjacks on 180c for around 10 minutes. Then carefully remove the tin foil and cook for a further 3 minutes to brown the top of the flapjacks.
Step 4
Carefully remove the baking tray from the air fryer and leave to cool. Finally cut your air fryer flapjacks into 12 equally sized squares and serve these delicious sweet treats with a cup of tea or coffee!
