Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F and line 12 cup muffin pan with muffin paper liners
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, lemon zest, poppy seeds, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whisk to combine them well.
Step 3
In another bowl, mix buttermilk, greek yogurt, oil and eggs together. beat with a whisk to mix them until smooth.
Step 4
Pour buttermilk mixture into flour mixture and stir with a spatula until just combined.
Step 5
Scoop the mixture and pour each lined muffin cup distributing equally among the cups.
Step 6
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the muffin comes out clean.
Step 7
Remove and cool for 10 minutes.

Mix icing sugar and lemon juice together in a bowl until the mixture is smooth.
Step 10
Drizzle the glaze over the muffins before serving
