Cinnamon Rolls with an optional icing

Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl add milk, yeast and sugar. Mix well, let it sit till yeast is foamy.
Step 2
Add butter, egg, salt, flour and mix until everything is combined. Knead for 5 minutes. Place in a greased bowl and let it rise for an hour or doubled in size.
Step 3
Roll dough into a rectangle, brush with softened butter. Add brown sugar and cinnamon (as much as you would like), cut into strips and roll up (or roll into a log and cut up).
Step 4
Grease a 9x13 casserole dish, add cinnamon rolls into dish, cover and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
Step 5
Add 1 cup heavy cream (optional), bake at 350 minutes for 20 minutes (oven times may vary)
Step 6
Optional:
Smother in buttercream icing
mix butter, icing sugar, vanilla and enough milk to make it smooth and mix well. Spread over top of cinnamon rolls.
