Ginger shots

This will make 12 2oz shots, it’s sweet with a hint of pepper in the back of your mouth. If you don’t like it peppery add less.

Instructions

Step 1
Rinse the ginger, oranges and lemon off. Cut the unpeeled ginger in chunks, cut the peel of the oranges and lemon and cut them into chunks,too . Add them into a blender and add about half of the water. Puree everything (my blender has a juice option and that worked great). Once it is all purred add the rest of the ingredients plus the water and give it another pulse. You can strain the juice through a fine mashed strainer or use a cheesecloth. I wore gloves because of the turmeric, it could turn your hands orange. I bottled 5 2oz shot bottles and the rest I put in egg bite molds (also 2oz). The juice will last for a week in the fridge but it is recommended to use it within 5 days. That’s where the frozen ones will be handy.
