So warm and comforting, this easy slow cooked chicken soup is always the perfect choice for cold winter days. This is my go-to recipe if I am feeling a little under the weather or need warming up. There is something special about chicken soup that is just so comforting. It also freezes really well, so you can have a little ready made pick-me-up to hand for whenever you need it.

Instructions

Step 1
Simply put all of your ingredients, apart from the sweetcorn, into your slow cooker, then season and stir well.
Step 2
And then cook on low for around 7 hours. After 7 hours, add the sweetcorn to the pot, stir again and then cook for a further hour, again on low.
Step 3
Then serve your slow cooker chicken soup scattered with fresh parsley, with some warm buttered crusty bread on the side for dipping.
