Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl combine milk, yeast and sugar. Mix well and let sit for 5 minutes when the yeast is frothy.
Step 2
Add flour, egg, water, salt, oil and butter. Mix well, knead for a few minutes. If its sticky add a little bit of extra flour.
Step 3
Grease a bowl and let rise for 1 hour or till doubled in size. To speed up the rising process, you can turn your oven on to the lowest temperature then turn the oven off and put your bowl in it.
Step 4
If dough is still to sticky or soft roll it in some flour. Separate into 8 (110 gram) dough balls, shape into buns. In a greased casserole dish place them in it. Cover and let sit for a 2nd rise for 20 minutes.
Step 5
Brush the tops with egg wash, Preheat oven to 425
Step 6
Bake for 15 minutes (ovens vary so cooking time may vary). Brush with butter.
