Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 425°F.
Step 2
Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt into a large mixing bowl.
Step 3
Transfer to food processor.
Step 4
Cut butter into pats and add to flour.
Step 5
Pulse 5 or 6 times until the mixture looks like rough crumbs.
Step 6
Return dough to bowl, add milk and stir with a fork until it forms a rough ball.
Step 7
Turn the dough out onto a floured pastry mat and pat into a rough triangle, roughly 1-inch thick.
Step 8
Fold it over and pat it down again.
Step 9
Repeat 2 more times. Cover the dough with a rough kitchen towel and let it rest 30 minutes
Step 10
Remove the towel a pat 5he dough to approximately a 6 × 10-inch rectangle.
Step 11
Cut the dough into bisquits using a floured bisquit cutter. Press straight down.
Baking
Step 12
Place bisquits on a cookie sheet and bake until golden brown, approximately 10 - 15 minutes.
