What recipe would you like to see next in my chipotle series?
2 pounds flank/ skirt steak
2 teaspoons salt
4 cloves crushed garlic
1 tablespoon lime zest
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup fresh squeeze lime juice
1 bunch cilantro
1 7 1/2 ounce can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
In a food processor combine all ingredients except steak. Blend until smooth and fully combined. Poor over steak and coat well. Marinate for minimum of 30 minutes, but the longer the better. Cook the steak on the grill 6-7 minutes per side for medium well(8 minutes per side for well done) allow the steak to rest five minutes before slicing then slice and enjoy.
