Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for about 3 minutes.
Step 2
In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

In a second shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
Step 4
In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs (and Parmesan cheese, if using).
Step 5
Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure they stick.
Step 6
Arrange the onion rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
Step 7
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Step 8
Serve immediately with your favourite dipping sauce (like ketchup, ranch, or spicy mayo).
