String Bean Salad with Nuts and Cream

I found this in one of my mom's old handwritten cookbooks! This is so delicious but it is a heavy meal so be warned!

Instructions

Step 1
Bring a small amount of water to a boil in a medium size saucepan to which lemon and salt have been added.
Step 2
Trim beans and cook 8 minutes or until just tender. Drain well.
Step 3
Melt butter in small saucepan and cook chopped nuts 5 minutes stirring and shaking the pan so they do not stick to the bottom.
Step 4
Add cream and nutmeg and bring to a boil. Remove from head and keep warm.
Step 5
When ready to serve, add salt and pepper to cream dressing and pour over string beans. Mix well. Enjoy!
