Step 1
1: Slice a boneless pork butt into chunks.
Step 2
2: If you like to use a binder, cover with avocado oil, then rub it with a Mexican style bbq rub.

3: Smoke it indirect at 300F until reaching 170F internal or until the bark looks good.
Step 4
4: Transfer the meat chunks to a foil tray for braising and add in the juice of 3 large oranges, 2 Mexican coca-colas, and 4 bay leaves.
Step 5
5: Cover it up with foil and place it back on the smoker until reaching 207F.
Step 6
6: Rest while still covered for 30 minutes, then break the meat apart and enjoy.
