Instructions
Step 1
Place chopped cucumbers, onions and pepper in a large bowl. Add 1/4 cup pickling salt and mix together. Cover with ice or cold water. Let stand 2 hours.
Step 2
Mix the first 6 sauce ingredients in a large pot.
Step 3
Mix the flour and water well and add to the pot.
Step 4
Bring to a boil and continue boiling for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Rinse and drain the pickles and add to the sauce. Boil 10 minutes and bottle while hot. Leave 1/2 inch space. Remove bubbles and wipe top of jar clean.
Step 6
Water bath processing for 10 minutes. Let cool for 12 to 24 hours. Remove rings to check seal. If not sealed, put in fridge to use. Store others in a cool dark spot.
