6Pork Chops

salt
to taste

pepper
to taste

3 Tbsunsalted butter
divided

4garlic cloves
thinly sliced or minced
¾ cup& Juanita Piquante Peppers
whole Peppadew, Sweet Spicy, roughly chopped if desired
⅓ cupliquid from the pepper jar
to taste start with 1/3 and add more if needed

1 tspapple cider vinegar
only if you want it tangier

crushed red pepper flakes
or cayenne, for extra heat
Instructions
Season the chops
Step 1
Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Sear the pork
Step 2
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tbsp of butter.
Step 3
Sear pork chops in a single layer, 2–3 minutes per side or until just cooked through. Remove to a plate and keep warm.
Build the sauce
Step 4
Lower heat to medium. Add another 1 tbsp of butter.
Step 5
Sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Step 6
Add chopped Peppadew peppers and sauté 1–2 minutes.
Step 7
Pour in ⅓ to ½ cup of the jar liquid — stir to deglaze and simmer for 2–4 minutes. Taste and adjust: • Add vinegar if you want more tang. • Add red pepper flakes if you want a bit more kick. • Add a final tbsp of butter if you want a silkier finish.
Finish the dish
Step 8
Return pork chops to the pan and spoon sauce over them.
Step 9
Simmer for another minute or two to warm through and meld flavors.
Serve
Step 10
Spoon the peppers and sauce over the pork chops.
Step 11
Optional garnish: fresh parsley or a grind of black pepper.
