Instructions
Step 1
Brown butter, cool.
Step 2
Mix oats + dry ingredients.
Step 3
Whisk butter + sugars + eggs + molasses. Add discard + vanilla.
Step 4
Fold in dry mix.
Step 5
Scoop (2 Tbsp each, ~34 g), bake 350°F 13-15 min. Cool fully.
Filling
Step 6
Beat cream cheese, butter, salt, vanilla.
Step 7
Mix in powdered sugar; adjust consistency.
Step 8
Sandwich filling between cookies.
