Instructions
Step 1

Rinse a non-stick pot with a lid with cold water.
Step 2
Place the 2L milk in the pot and heat at medium heat to 180 degrees F.
Step 3
Keep the lid on the pot and stir now and again to keep the milk from scorching.
Step 4
Once the temperature is reached, remove the milk from the heat.
Step 5

Let the milk cool down to 110 degrees F.
Step 6

Once the milk reached 110 degrees F, mix the 125ml yogurt starter with a bit of the milk.
Step 7
Place the mixture into the milk and stir through.
Step 8

Pour the milk into two 1L containers and close.
Step 9

Place the two 1L containers into a dutchch oven or cooler that will hold its temperature.
Step 10

Fill the dutch oven or cooler with boiling water to the rim of the two 1L containers.
Step 11

Wrap the dutch oven in towels and leave the yogurt to rest for 3,5 to 4 hours.
Step 12

I place my dutch oven with yogurt in my switched off oven for the time so that it is out of my way.
Step 13

After 3,5 to 4 hours, remove the yogurt from the dutch oven and place it into the refrigerator to cool.
Step 14
You may strain the yogurt through a cheese cloth to get rid of excess wey. I just pour the most off and mix the rest back into the yogurt.
