Instructions

Step 1
In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes until it's frothy.

Add the pumpkin puree and honey to the yeast mixture and stir until well combined.

In a separate bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Blend the ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and sugar in a small bowl to create the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangular shape on a floured surface.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the dough.

Starting from one of the shorter ends, roll the dough into a tight log.

Place the dough in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top and cooked through.
