Instructions

Step 1
Cream butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy
Step 2
Gradually add beaten eggs
Step 3
Stir in sifted flour and vanilla extract
Step 4
Grease a pudding bowl, and add syrup to the bottom
Step 5
Pour over sponge mixture
Step 6
Place in microwave,covered for 5 minutes on high. Check sponge is cooked and turn out on to a plate. Serve with custard or cream etc
