10-Minute Adjarian Khachapuri - Gluten-Free Cheese Boat (Air Fryer)
A simple, quick version of Adjarian Khachapuri, a classic Georgian cheese bread. It's made completely gluten-free and cooked in the air fryer. Crispy outside, soft and cheesy inside.
Tip:
You can tweak the flour amount to control texture — more flour for a firmer base, less for softer. Any mild, melty cheese works great: mozzarella, Monterey Jack, Havarti, or feta mix for a tangier version.

Instructions
Step 1
Mix the dough
In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, gluten-free flour, egg white, salt, and a tiny bit of baking powder. Mix well until smooth and evenly blended.
Step 2
Shape it
Form the mixture into a small oval “boat” shape on a piece of parchment paper. Adjust the flour if needed — a bit more for a firmer dough, a bit less for a softer one.
Step 3
Air fry (first bake)
Place the dough (with the parchment) into your air fryer basket.
Bake at 355°F (180°C) for 9 minutes.
Step 4
Add cheese topping
Open the air fryer, sprinkle mozzarella (or your cheese of choice) over the top, and bake for another 3 minutes until melted and lightly golden.
Step 5
Finish with egg and butter
Once done, carefully add the egg yolk on top and a small piece of butter in the center. Serve immediately while warm and gooey.
