Ingredients

1 tablespoonolive oil
1 lbboneless skinless chicken breasts
diced
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
1 teaspoongarlic powder
½ teaspoononion powder
½ teaspoonsmoked paprika
1 ½ cupsOrzo Pasta
3 cupslow-sodium chicken broth
2 cupsfresh broccoli florets
1 cupmilk
1 ½ cupsshredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoonscream cheese
¼ cupgrated parmesan cheese
fresh parsley
for garnish, optional
Instructions
Step 1
In a large deep skillet or pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add diced chicken, season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Step 2
In the same skillet, add orzo and toast for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
Step 3
Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping up any browned bits. Bring to a boil
Step 4
Reduce heat to medium-low.
Step 5
Stir in broccoli cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes until orzo is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Step 6
Stir in milk, cooked chicken, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and Parmesan. Mix until everything is creamy and combined.
Step 7
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
