Instructions

Step 1
Shred the amount of potatoes you’d like to freeze.
Step 2
Immediately put the potatoes into a large bowl of cold water and let soak for about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the potatoes from the water onto a clean tea towel. Squeeze out any excess water.
Step 4
Place the shredded potatoes onto cookie sheets in a thin layer.
Step 5
Freeze until solid, about 1–2 hours.
Step 6
Remove from cookie sheets into freezer bags. Store in freezer up to 3 months.
