Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Combine all meat, breadcrumbs, sauce, and seasoning in a large bowl. Mix well with hands until all combined.
Step 3
Thaw out pastry so that it is easy to roll without cracking.
Step 4
Cut pastry sheets evenly down the centre
Step 5
Spread a handful of sausage mixture down the centre of each half of the pastry leaving enough pastry either side to roll.
Step 6
Brush edges of pastry with egg wash and roll around sausage mixture to form the sausage roll, ensure it is sealed well.
Step 7
Pierce the non-sealed side with a fork 3-4 times to create air vents. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds (if using).
Step 8
To make finger food sized rolls, use 3 fingers to measure, use knife to cut. To make full sized sausage rolls, cut rolls to desired length.
Step 9
Place sausage rolls onto a greased baking tray leaving enough space for the sausage rolls to puff up.
Step 10
Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until pastry is golden and meat inside is cooked.

Serve with your favourite sauce and enjoy!
